Idea stacking is a system where you collect old ideas, whether they are interesting or not, and then find connections between them to create a new idea. This system has three steps...

Step 1: Absorb

The next step is to write down ideas, not just basic ones, but also interesting ideas. Write it in a journal or type it out, it doesn't matter if those ideas doesn't seem related to the other ideas, what's important is to log as many ideas as you can.

Step 2: Write Down Ideas

After you collect and log ideas, think about how an idea is connected to another idea. And also ask how can you combine 2 or more ideas to create a big idea. That's where innovation occurs.

In churches, priests convinced people to show up once a week and learn more about the religion. Productivity religion make you to optimize 24/7 in order to improve daily. You buy and follow programs, plans and tools from other people in order to become more productive, which can save you from the sin of mediocrity. Your daily output adds value to yourself, and rest is something that you need to earn. Following it feels like a reward that makes you a functional human

Productivity Reliogion is Much Different

You should try your best to have better output every single day. If not, the guilt and regret will feel painful. Everytime that you didn't finished your goals, you wate time and when you didn't improve, you'll feel like you've failed morally, which seems painful to think about.

The GUILT Is Real

In other religions, they said or promised that you'll get a break and rest eventually. But in productivity, you'll not get some rest because there's so many things that you need to optimize and it never ends because there are many things in your life that needs to improve.But of course, you still some rest at least because without energy to optimize and improve, you'll not achieve the other level that is coming yo you.

Productivity Will Not Let You Rest... Kind Of...

Changing your mindset from "Why I should be productive?" to "Am I being productive enough?" Will be helpful to make yourself more productive. Once productivity becomes part of your identity, where your value and your worth depends on it and when you feel that you can't live without constant improvement, that's not productivity anymore, that's worship.

Most people are underestimating small actions. They always think that big actions will help them to achieve their goals. But small actions will help you in the long term, rather than big actions that just help you for the short term. Always try to improve atleast 1% everyday consistently, because in one year of 1% improvements, you'll ve 37x better when you are done.

Goals are important but they can restrict happiness. Instead, focus on creating a system that allows for progress. 4 Ways to Make Your Habits Obvious

- Remove cues of bad habits in your environment
- Ex: Hide your phone in another room drawer

The key to breaking bad habits is removing the cues from your environment. For instance, if you find yourself constantly checking your phone, try keeping it out of sight in a different room. This way, you won't be constantly reminded to engage in your bad habit, making it easier to avoid.

1. Temptation Bundling: Pair a desirable activity with a necessary one. Example: After I finish my chores, I will have a piece of chocolate.2. Create a motivation ritual: Boost your motivation through an enjoyable activity before tackling a difficult habit. This will make it more likely that you will follow through.

When we need to do a task, we often say to ourselves "I have to do this" but this leads us to procrastination, stress and anxiety. You should be instead grateful to your tasks that you planned to do because this tasks is helping you to save your time and slowly progress to your life.So instead of saying "I have to do this", say "I get to do this".

Habit 1: Approach Your Tasks with Gratitude

Having a deep focus towards to our daily tasks had been difficult. But when you really need to study to an exam that you need to ace, you spend almost all of your energy and focus to that preparation. Why not do the same when we do our work/tasks?When we treat our work as an exam or an preparation for an exam, your focus can increase and your mind will treat those tasks as a very important preparation for your future.

Habit 2: Treat Deep Work Like an Exam

Perfectionism is ruining our motivation to our work. It is because when we try to make our work perfect, we easily get frustrated when we miss a task or when our day doesn't go as well as we planned, that will leads us to procrastination.
Instead of focusing on flawless progress or results, we should focus on doing something fast, even it was bad or wrong. By doing this, you are creating a momentum and you create progress day by day without no hesitation.

Habit 3: Use FBR/FBW (Fast, Bad, Wrong)

We always have thoughts, feelings and idea that we always carry around. We thought that when we had an idea or thoughts about something, we think that we can remember it. But most of the times, we always forgot those important ideas and thoughts.
You should always write down all of your ideas and thoughts to a journal. You can use a journal notebook or an app, as long as you can always write your thoughts anytime

Habit 4: Use Journal to Offload your Thoughts and Ideas

We are always getting distracted in the morning, while doing our work and in the evening because our phones are always accessible and are always near to us. And when your phone is near to you, you always crave to use it.The best you should do is by placing your phone into the drawer or in the other room. This works because when your phone is too far, your mind thinks that it is too hassle to get that phone, and your cravings will slowly fades out.

Habit 5: Keep your Phone Away

Everytime we use native version of social media, we are easily getting distracted because of the fancy features that every social media apps have. We should uninstal those apps and use socail media through browser.This adds friction to your cravings to use social media as it is bit too hassle to open these sites and it has less features on it. This will can potentially help you to quit or break your addiction/cravings in using social media.

Habit 6: Use Social Media only Through Browser, Not Native Apps

Watching TV shows and entertainments on the traditional TV often keeps us distracted, which steals our time that we can use to do valuable and important things. By removing the traditional TV, we will reclaim countless hours each week. But occasionally, we spend some time watching YT, movies and anime, but the key is to avoid habitual, solo TV consumption.
