Start Where You Are
The presence of Jesus doesn’t always offer an immediate fix for 
our problems. Just because God is with us doesn’t mean He’ll 
change everything around us. God doesn’t promise us an easy 
life. He promises us a God-with-us life. He will someday complete the good work He started in each of us. But our current circum-
stances might not change soon. Keep this in mind. Your financial 
burdens may not soon be lifted. Your health may continue to decline. Your estranged daughter might not call you back. Your Problems won’t be solved overnight. I’m not saying it’s impossible.

Start Where You Are 

After all, we serve a God who makes the blind see and the lame alk! But most change comes over time.

Your problems, however long you may deal with them, can be 
seen differently if you understand that God’s heart is wide open 
to you, as you are, all of the time.
Open your heart—even if you don’t believe in God. Even if you 
hate God. Give God a chance. Trust me, once you experience the 
reality of God’s love in your life, nothing is the same.
Start where you are.
Start with addiction.
Start with pornography.
Start with pride.
Start with fear.
Start with infidelity.
Start with shame.

Start with weariness.
Start with loneliness.
Start with comparison.
You are not stuck where you are. You can turn it all over to 
Jesus. All of it. If you start where you are, God will take you where 
you need to be.

Start with guilt.
 Start with anxiety.
 Start with depression.
 Start with doubt.
 Start with jealousy.
 Start with suicidal thoughts.

No matter which stage you are in life, you can submit your life to God and start fresh and new.

Start Where You Are

Sexual sin has completely weakened my body, bones, and mind.The changes I've noticed in myself are as follows: "Satan is eating me on the inside with all the lies he's implanted in me and is in the process of completely taking me and making me his own."

Sexual Sin 

So, I believe self-control goes hand in hand with it. Whereas temptation comes from Satan, self-control comes from Christ. And it all comes down to your choice between them. If you give in to temptation, you will continue to do so. If you choose self-control, you will come to a halt and save it for later. Do you know how it feels to be sinning sexually and God allowing self-control to distract you? It's fine if you choose God. But if you continue to be tempted, you will ask God and tell him that this is the last time, just an excuse to ignore him this time and choose your interest.

Part 2 

So, if you have already committed sexual sin in your life, think about how you feel about it. Let me tell you something good: you don't have to feel that way. Admit your sins to God and ask for forgiveness. Because you are new in Christ, make sure to mention your error whenever you share the gospel or your testimony.Jesus already paid the penalty for our sins on the cross, so you no longer have to carry that burden.

Part 4

The wages of sin is death. Sexual sin is physically, emotionally and mentally makes you weak. Eventually you lose your memory, strength and it leads to your death. Here is my experience regarding this sin.

What is a quiet time?The intimate time spent with God by any person which in involves studying the Bible, praying, talking to him, worshipping him and listening to him. God is our creator. When we are going spend time with him, a proper preparation and attitude towards quiet time is necessary. So how do you have a proper attitude that fulfills your quiet time ?

Proper Attitude For Quiet Time 

1. Expectancy = Eagerness2. Reverence = Don't rush3. Alertness = Remember that you are meeting the creator. Stay alert4. Willingness to obey = obey whatever God tells you do . Have a heart to obey whether it is easy or difficult to do.

Luke 6:32 says,if you love only those who love you, what credit is that to you?And 1 John 4:16 says, We know and rely on the love God has for us.

When you recognise the extravagant and irresistible love that God has for you ,his love will change your entire focus in life. You can't do that until you have god's love coming through you.Know God's love for you and it will overflow out of your life into others.

Make sure you do this with faith. And how does faith take place in a person? Faith comes from hearing. And that is why I mention numerous times to make a habit, discipline yourself, and read, and study the Bible, to know the truth for yourself.When you study the Bible and pray, you are not doing yourself a favor, you are doing yourself a favor. If you find it hard to read the Bible every day, listen to podcasts and sermons. I know it doesn't always have to be the same way. But a Christian is incomplete without the Bible and prayer.

Prayer - What Is It? 

Why should we pray? Because it is an important thing to do in a believer's day-to-day life. We live in a world, which is full of troubles, hurdles, confusion, and disturbance. And all we expect is peace, calmness, and comfort. And to submit all those things we have a savior with whom we need to talk every day.

Why Should We Pray?

Prayer sets you free from everything:When you pray to God, faith is the most important thing you need to haveMark 11:24 says, Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you'll get it.So you might be wondering, even though I believe what's the exact day or time I will be receiving it? My dear, God will never forget his promises. He will give you it at the right time and in the right place. All you need to do is believe that you will receive it no matter how long it takes. The reason why he doesn't mention the exact time is that he keeps a test of our faith!

Prayer Sets You Free From Everything.

Importance of Prayer in a believer's life: I believe that no matter how many scriptures we see and read, a real-life example is what people get more connected to. So in my life, sometimes I feel so sick, physically and also mentally. It's because I think about my future and get anxious about it. I know that prayer is something that sets me free from these thoughts, giving all my thoughts will set me free but I never used to pray because of the thought that no matter how many times I pray I will be thinking the same things and get anxious again. This thought is from satan.

Importance Of Prayer In A Believer's Life-1: 

But when I push myself and just close my eyes for a second and feel his presence, then pray to him, I feel so peaceful and light.And that is exactly why we need to pray. Instead of thinking about everything and giving satan our minds to control, we just need to pray to God. I know some days it feels so hard with all our worldly works and that's ok. That's completely fine. Getting back on track, reading and meditating on scripture, talking to God, and just surrounding ourselves in his presence are the only things in this world that give our minds the needed peace.

Righteousness:The moment you were saved; things between you and God were made right.It's not always about you, your power, your strength, and your abilities; but all about his.You were made right with God inside and walking right with God.

So while I was meditating on this devotional journey by Joyce Meyer I reminded myself of when I got baptized and did not know the exact reason behind it. But after going through part -6, I completely got an idea of why I got it and how I should be an example for others and explain this to them.

Ephesians 1:19 That I might know the greatness of His power in me. Philippians 1:10 That I may learn to sense what is vital and of real value. Philippians 1:11 That I may abound and be filled with the fruits of righteousness.

John 17:12 That He will keep and protect me from the evil one. Colossians 1:9 That I may know God’s will. Colossians 1:11-12 That I may be strengthened with all power, [to exercise] every kind of endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks.

One of the best ways to find and maintain Joy is devote ourselves to Prayer.It is an amazing way to keep our mind focused on God, and incredible things he's Blessed us with.

Misconceptions About Prayer

Prayer is simply talking to God and listening to him just the way we are conversating with a friend.•let it be like breathing.•start talking to God about anything and everything.•As you go about your day, simply talk with him about everything that is happening, about the people you talk, what you think, how you feel.•If something is on your mind , you can tell him about it.•Prayer opens the door to the power of God and invites him to change things and people.•It opens doors that you can't open and closed doors that you would lead to something isn't Good.

There are many reasons to pray, one of them is mentioned in the book of James Chapter 5 verse 16,"The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much."People think that God will not hear their prayers and answer them.But what God says is, No matter how tiny or unimportant it may be , if it concerns us , then God is interested in Working it out.If something hurts us , he's ready to help us.If something is too hard for us, he's standing right there to help us and he's just one prayer away.James 4:2 says,....yet you don't have what you want because you don't ask God for it.
