There are many reasons to pray, one of them is mentioned in the book of James Chapter 5 verse 16,

"The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much."

People think that God will not hear their prayers and answer them.But what God says is, No matter how tiny or unimportant it may be , if it concerns us , then God is interested in Working it out.

If something hurts us , he's ready to help us.

If something is too hard for us, he's standing right there to help us and he's just one prayer away.

James 4:2 says,

....yet you don't have what you want because you don't ask God for it.
